The Founder

edelgard-about-page.jpg

Sophie Gonzales is an entrepreneur who dreamt of owning a bakery at a very young age, around a preschool age. Due to her lack of knowledge at the time, she called it a restaurant and defined it as all restaurants served all foods that are cooked and a bakery that only sells deserts and breads. Referring it to a restaurant, she wanted to serve people a specialty restaurant of every recipe that's with coconut. As she grew older, she forgot about those dreams as time went on and the Covid-19 Pandemic, she remembered her childhood dreams wanting to honor those dreams and in 2022 she signed up to baking classes and she sells her homework and the Ghost Corner Bakery is born.

The opening of the bakery

At first, she was also hesitant to sign up for the baking class, however the other option was Robotics, a subject she particularly finds useless, but When she signed up for baking classes, the first homework of hers was to bake brownies. It was a lesson to discuss how to use an oven. She did her homework for the bakery and sold the first batch of brownies. Which only took three days to sell, and ever since that day she decided to continue working on the now so-called Ghost Corner Bakery. She came up with the name after her second class homework of selling Bibingka, a homemade Filipino treat after remembering the category of her restaurant ghost kitchen and the idea only becoming a corner in the store the name came up to which is now the branding of the bakery.

Missions, Visions Goals

Mission

Sophie's mission is to make sure a lot of people don't have to pay overpriced for baked goods, and at the same time make sure that the baked goods are all the highest quality anyone can get while remaining all local and homemade.

Vission

Sophie's vision is to make people order and deliver her goods and as more people are looking to support homemade local bakers, they simply believe that homemade baked goods would be much affordable as the ones that are store bought.
